For admission to study at Washington Institute of Technology all applicants are required to submit a completed application with nonrefundable $50 application fee. Application forms can be downloaded from our website or can also be obtained upon request by post, e-mail, fax, from WIT:

For the 2006-2007 academic year, WIT is admitting students to both undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as to career diploma & certificate courses and English as a Second Language. All applicants must provide the necessary documentation, as shown below:

Explanation of Admission Materials
NOTE: ANY APPLICATION MATERIALS NOT IN ENGLISH MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A CERTIFIED ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE ORIGINALS.
1. Application Form: All applicants must submit a fully completed and signed Application Form. Incomplete applications will NOT be considered for admission until all necessary information has been received by the Admission Office.
2: Application Fee: Each applicant is required to pay a non-refundable $50 application fee. Students wishing to pay by credit card may do so separately by submitting the credit card number and the expiration date (month and year) to us by email at info@witedu.org. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. You can also pay in person at the Admissions Office.
3. Previous Degree: Applicants already holding a degree from a foreign college or university may submit a notarized copy of their college or university diploma, accompanied by a certified translation, if the originals are not in English.
a. For Master¡¯s Programs, a ¡°Bachelor's Degree¡± is required.
b. For Undergraduate and Career Certificate, and ESL programs, a minimum of a ¡°High School Diploma¡± or "High School Completion Certificate" is required.
For international students: Bachelor's Degrees from foreign universities should be equivalent to the completion of a four-year program of study at a U. S. college or university. Graduate applicants, please refer to the US. Equivalencies table for your foreign Bachelor¡¯s degree to be able to make an application to WIT¡¯s Master¡¯s programs.
Applicants to any of our Undergraduate level program, please see the US. Equivalencies table for your foreign High School diploma to be able to make an application for our undergraduate level programs.
4. Official Transcripts: In addition to submitting a previous degree, all applicants must submit official transcripts, or notarized (or otherwise certified) copies of transcripts, from all colleges or universities previously attended (whether or not a degree was earned from an institution). A minimum of a 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) is required for graduate admissions, and a minimum of a 2.00 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) is required for undergraduate admissions.
For international students: WIT will evaluate your transcript for internal purposes only. If you need an evaluation for a more general purpose, you have to contact global credential evaluators. They will evaluate your transcript and determine the U.S. equivalency of your foreign diploma. For more information, please contact translate Service agent.
5. SAT/ACT Scores: All undergraduate applicants coming from the U.S. high school system (inside or outside of the US) are required to submit their college entrance examination scores. Applicants are required to submit only one either the SAT or the ACT scores. The minimum composite SAT score of 870 or minimum ACT score of 18 is required.
